About Me
I practise yoga to make me feel grounded when the world around me is changing at a rapid pace.
It keeps my emotions intact amidst a sea of emotional turbulence. I have maintained my flexibility & strength through life’s changing seasons.
My immunity is strong.
Through the practice of yoga I have become a conscious being : knowing myself , those around me and how I interact with the environment and Mother Earth.
i am inspired to share this wonderful gift that has been so generously given to us by our past and present yoga gurus and teachers.
Certification
Kim qualified as an Iyengar Yoga Instructor in 2010 through the BKS Iyengar Association of the Western Cape.
Yoga is an integral part of her life and she is passionate about sharing the many benefits of Yoga; not only as a tool to overcome the daily stresses of life, but as a means to move through the stages of life with courage, strength & grace.
Whether you want to build a healthier stronger body, cultivate a calm mind, reach spiritual growth or simply to be more present – a yoga practise will benefit you.
As a yoga teacher it is my hope to inspire & lead others to take this journey together.
Kim also holds an Honours Degree in Comparative Literature. She has a Diploma in Holistic Health and is currently undergoing training for Level 2 Iyengar Yoga.
